STARS Driveline - Test Automation System for Driveline Testing

STARS Driveline is an integrated automation, acquisition and control system that provides a broad range of application functionality in a single, powerful environment. It has been designed to fulfil the specialist requirements and applications for driveline testing from simple modal testing on two or four wheel drive systems, to RLS simulation or advanced applications such as service load replication ( SLR) . STARS Driveline builds on the powerful STARS platform to deliver a flexible, powerful yet simple to use Automation System specially configured for driveline testing. A number of pre-configured display pages will delivered with the system that allows users to interactively control the complete test stand and instrumentation. STARS is able to interface to and control a wide range of intelligent instruments using simple to program test schedules. In addition STARS has a dedicated real-time Ethernet interface to the SPARC driveline controller. Real-time Capabilities At the heart of STARS is a powerful and capable real time system that can operate at frequencies of up to 5 kHz.
